Reinstatement Agent
Job Description:
You will be actively engaged in attending sites in Essex and Hertfordshire with the specific role not limited to but including, small civil engineering works, repair and maintenance work in the highway backfill / reinstate and traffic management set-up. Safe set-up of an operational site, safe operation of any required tools, plant and fleet to carry the required task are critical. These are to agreed safety & quality standards including compliance to all internal policy, method statements and external guidelines & legislation.
All teams must maintain and supervise a high quality of workmanship standards in line with quality policy whilst being as efficient and cost effective as possible. Further, delivering own work within timescales and commitment time via Right First-Time practices and behaviours.
You must have at least 2 years’ experience of reinstatement and maintenance of utility works. Be customer focused and conduct business in a professional manner and to assist in the production of electronic records and reports of task related activities, including customer related enquiries is a pre-requisite. This includes being able to operate laptop, iPad and smartphone.
Entry level Occupational Health Tests are a mandatory requirement.
Qualification and experience:
• NRSWA Units 1-10 for Excavation/Reinstatement
• Full clean Driving License
• Abrasive Wheels Accreditation
• CSCS Health & Safety
• Interpersonal / Customer Skills
• Basic Numeracy and literacy
• Ability to effectively operate laptop, camera, and smartphone
• Management of Reinstatement Teams
Salary: Negotiable + Bonus
