We maintain a Roles and Responsibilities Register which identifies core competencies required for each role. The Register informs our screening, short-listing and interview process.
Please note that we conduct occupational health checks and background checks prior to confirmation of employment. All positions have a probation period of 9 months. We also conduct drugs and alcohol testing during induction. We continue our commitment to a ‘clean’ workforce through randomised testing of at least 10% of our personnel each year.
Roles are often rota-based and involve out-of-hours service provision. Staff are given the flexibility to work more hours when needed (in accordance with our fatigue policy), in return for time off in lieu (TOIL).
