Our Commitment to the Environment

Playing our part in tackling the ongoing global environmental challenges.

CLC is a sustainable construction service provider to the utilities sector.

We adopt the WRAP circular economy process and actively channel the by-products and waste of our works via a supply chain who reconstitute the feedstock into new material for use in future works.

Many of the extracted materials we recover on site are reused on the same works, leading to significant reductions in waste, material purchases and vehicle movements. As a direct result of our Sustainable Policy, we have actively aligned our business to the net zero targets and objectives of its partners stakeholders.

We are pleased to announce our Carbon Neutral certification in accordance with DEFRA guidelines, and our sponsorship of the Freedom Flight Sirma Run-of-River Small Hydro Project – Turkey (Ref: VCS 1152).

The project in Turkey is just one example of the fantastic collaboration by local business and countries around the world committed to decarbonisation’’.

Continually reducing our carbon footprint

We regularly monitor and review the environmental impact of our projects, driving a continuous improvement programme to reduce our carbon footprint.

Working with only likeminded partners

We source equipment, components, and materials from supply chains whose values are closely aligned to reduce emissions, source ethically, seek innovative alternatives, and significantly reduce our reliance on single-use plastics.
